BADGE ACCESS
Some tickets require the presentation of a badge. When this is necessary, a badge icon is featured on the ticket. This makes it possible to attend screenings of the Official Selection and parallel sections (Directors’ Fortnight, Semaine de la Critique, ACID and Cannes Cinéma). Screenings at the Cinéma de la Plage are freely accessible. The ticket office is dematerialised and accessible for each person with accreditation on My Cannes.
Tickets may be printed or presented electronically. They are strictly personal and the sale of tickets is expressly forbidden. Violators are subject to legal proceedings.
Once you have been assigned a seat, this is guaranteed and it is not necessary to arrive well in advance. For most screenings, a time period where you can access the theatre is indicated on the ticket. Please adhere to this.
SCREENINGS AT THE GRAND THÉÂTRE LUMIÈRE
By attending screenings at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, you accept that you may be photographed and/or filmed.
Two Gala screenings take place every night. You should arrive at the foot of the red steps wearing a dinner jacket or evening dress*, along with your badge and ticket, on time and at the entrance specified on your ticket.
*In the absence of this, you may wear a cocktail dress, a dark trouser suit, a dressy top with black trousers, a “little black dress”, a black or midnight blue suit with a bow tie. Elegant shoes, with or without heels, are required (no trainers).
LAST MINUTE ENTRY
If places are available, festival badge-holders without tickets can attend all the screenings at the Grand Théâtre Lumière. A total of 15,000 people enjoy this benefit every year.
FREE ADMISSIONS
Every evening from 9:30pm on, the Cinéma de la Plage provides open-air screenings for all to enjoy.
