Set in an English public school (like Eton) in 1930’s, it tells the story of Guy Bennett (based on a celebrated English spy) and how a love affair he has with another boy leads first to happiness but then to humiliation and poses the question as to whether the famous English spies of recent years may have found the motivation for their deceit and treachery within the English public school system.
