In July 1914, the steamer Gloria N leaves the port of Naples to embark on a strange cruise. On board, officials, artists, and Italian socialites are gathered together for diva Emée Tetua’s funeral as her ashes are to be scattered on the high sea. But the solemn journey is disrupted by the rescue of Serbian fugitives.
