Images, reporting, humor column awards given to Cape Cod Instances


Cape Cod Instances reporters and photographers gained 12 awards within the 2022 New England Newspaper & Press Affiliation Higher Newspaper Competitors.
The awards had been introduced Might 6 in Waltham. The Instances submitted 32 entries, and judges reviewed a whole lot of entries from throughout New England information publications.
Awards touched on photojournalism, investigative items, spot information, obituaries, sports activities protection and extra.

Rachael Devaney: Second Place, Racial, Ethnic or Gender Concern Protection, for her story on defending indigenous burial floor tells a bigger story; Third Place, Obituaries, for her remembrance of Susan Quinones.
Ron Schloerb: Second Place, Sports activities Function Photograph.
Cape Cod Instances Employees: Second Place, Spot Information, for protection of the bomb cyclone that struck the Cape in October 2021.
Doug Fraser: First Place, Vitality Reporting, for his Options Journalism sequence on the burgeoning wind trade in Massachusetts.
Saralee Perel (freelance columnist): Third Place, Humor Column.
