AWARDS – Best Director

The Best Director Award was won by Bennett Miller for Foxcatcher. It was presented to him by the American actor Adrien Brody.

In his speech, Miller said: “This week in Cannes has been exceptional. I would like to thank Jane Campion, the members of the Jury, Thierry Frémaux and Gilles Jacob. I would like to dedicate this award to the cast. It’s amazing to have people who believe in you. It’s extremely rewarding. Thank you“.
