Jury Prize: The Angels’ Share by Ken Loach

The Jury Prize has been awarded to Ken Loach for The Angels’ Share. Ken Loach received his prize from Laura Morante and Patrick Bruel.

Ken Loach declared: “I’d like to thank the Festival and the Jury, who have been very kind ! Thank you for your welcome, which is always very warm at Cannes. I wish to say that Cannes shows us that the cinema is not just entertainment – but that it shows what we are. I’d also like us to express our solidarity with all those who are resisting austerity.”
