1983, and the military dictatorship in Argentina ends. It is late in the night when Floreal finally gets out of prison. Five long years, he has waited to rejoin his wife but the night will be long and their reunion for ever postponed. The couple has changed, just like the country which longs to find hope and freedom once again. A long journey through life and death, desire and fear: that is “Le Sud”.
