Meeting the team of Le Jeune Ahmed (Young Ahmed) by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne

Twice winners of the Palme d'or, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne return to Cannes in Competition this year with their new film Le Jeune Ahmed (Young Ahmed). Struck by the latest round of terrorist attacks, the Belgian directors tell the story of Ahmed, a teenager caught between the purist ideals of his imam and the appeal of life itself. The Dardène brothers attended today's press conference, accompanied by actors Idir Ben Addi, Myriem Akheddiou, Olivier Bonnaud, Claire Bodson, Victoria Bluck and Othmane Moumen, along with producer Denis Freyd.
